“As a result of the missile strike, one of our warehouses was destroyed. It contained medical humanitarian aid that was intended for Ukrainian healthcare facilities,” the organization's representative said.

She specified that the aid was intended to support more than 600 hospitals and medical clinics throughout Ukraine. Among the lost equipment are ultrasound systems, medical consumables, surgical instruments, and other critical equipment that saves patients' lives every day.

“Hospitals, especially those near the frontline and affected regions, are operating at the limits of their capacity, and any delay or loss of equipment means a reduced ability to provide timely and quality medical care,” Oksana Gologorskaya said.

Therefore, she continued, the destruction of humanitarian and medical aid warehouses is not only a destruction of infrastructure, but also a blow to thousands of patients who need urgent and planned treatment in Ukraine.

According to the vice president of medical projects at Nova Ukraine, such attacks are, unfortunately,“a daily risk” in wartime, and the latest strike has resulted in the loss of significant investments of resources and time for several organizations. But despite this, thanks to strong partnerships and the dedication of the team, charitable activities will continue.

“We are working to restore the lost supplies and ensure the continuity of deliveries. Despite all challenges, we continue doing everything possible to make sure hospitals receive the equipment and supplies they need to continue operating without disruptions,” Gologorskaya emphasized.

She also expressed gratitude to partners and donors who respond quickly and provide support.

As reported by Ukrinform, as a result of the Russian missile and drone strike on Lviv on Thursday night, a warehouse in the industrial zone of the city was hit.
