Crown Prince Visits Maritime Counterterrorism Team

Aqaba, Nov. 20 (Petra)-- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II visited the Maritime Counterterrorism Team of the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces on Thursday.
The Crown Prince was briefed by the team's leader on their tasks, duties, training, and achievements.
His Royal Highness emphasised the need to adhere to the highest standards of combat readiness in the field of maritime counterterrorism.
The Crown Prince was also briefed on specialised training programmes, the latest developments in naval operations, and plans to secure vital water facilities in partnership with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies.
His Royal Highness also visited an exhibition of recently adopted modern equipment and machinery.
During the visit, the Crown Prince also observed the team conduct an exercise demonstrating their handling of moving maritime targets, and carrying out night-time missions using the latest surveillance and navigation equipment in various weather conditions.
