Low-Quality Isogam Returned To Iran
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan National Standards and Quality Authority says a 24-ton shipment of low-quality isogam imported from Iran has been returned via the Nimroz border crossing.
The authority said in a statement on Thursday that its technical staff at Nimroz port identified the shipment-containing 24 tons of construction isogam-that did not meet national quality standards, and subsequently denied entry.
It said the authority prioritizes strict control of the quality of imported goods, ensuring consumer safety, and preventing economic and construction-related damage caused by substandard materials.
