(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20. ​ The D-8 Media Forum will be held in Baku with the participation of heads of media-related institutions and leading media entities of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation member states, as well as other high-ranking representatives and well-known experts in the field, under the theme“Promoting dialogue, cooperation, and regional solidarity” on November 21, Trend reports via the Media Development Agency.

The forum, organized by the agency, will discuss improving regional and international information exchange, strengthening cooperation in the media sector, establishing joint mechanisms to combat disinformation, promoting joint projects in the field of digital media, and sharing best practices.

The event schedule holds two panel sessions titled“Responsible journalism and digital innovation” and“Strategic communication and crisis management,” as well as a workshop on“Media ethics in a digitalizing world: technologies, trends, and narratives.”

A total of around 150 guests will attend the forum, including 71 foreign representatives from eight countries and the secretariat of the organization.
