No Movement Of Belarusian Equipment Or Troops Near Ukrainian Border Observed SBGS Spox
“We are not observing any changes in the direction of our border: neither movement of equipment nor movement of personnel. Of course, this direction remains threatening for us, as Belarus continues to support Russia in the war launched against our country. Therefore, as before, our actions focus on strengthening our defense capabilities. In particular, engineering fortification of the state border continues across various regions bordering Belarus,” he said.
Demchenko noted that Belarus continues to keep certain units deployed with an emphasis on strengthening the border with Ukraine, as if they are expecting some threat from Ukraine.“In doing so, Belarus is simply manipulating the situation, trying to shift responsibility onto our country and attempting to forget the beginning of the full-scale invasion, when it was Belarus that opened its border to Russian troops, enabling their invasion into Ukraine,” he stressed.
