Caitlin Mcgee
- Research Director, Institute for Sustainable Futures, University of Technology Sydney
Caitlin co-leads the housing research at the UTS Institute for Sustainable Futures. Her focus is on sustainable, climate-resilient, affordable and community-led housing. Over the past 25 years she has been at the forefront of some high profile projects, including the Australian Government's multi-award-winning Your Home guide to sustainable housing. She is a 2024 winner of a Australian Public Policy Institute Challenge Grant for research exploring housing affordability, and recently worked with the NSW Community Housing Industry Association to explore the global megatrends that will impact Australian housing over the next 25 years. Caitlin advises all levels of government on policies and programs related to sustainable housing and cities.
