International Gaza Humanitarian Aid Summit to convene in Istanbul

(MENAFN) Istanbul will host the International Gaza Humanitarian Aid Summit on November 11-12, bringing together over 200 organizations from Türkiye and 48 other countries, according to reports.

Organized by Türkiye's Diyanet Foundation (TDV), the summit aims to shed light on the ongoing humanitarian challenges in Gaza and strengthen international support. The event, themed "The Future of Gaza," is expected to attract more than 400 participants, including representatives from civil society organizations, human rights advocates, scholars, and members of the media.

The summit will focus on the two-year humanitarian crisis in Gaza, addressing the pressing needs of millions affected by damage to infrastructure, healthcare, education, and housing, while also promoting strategies for sustainable aid and post-ceasefire recovery. Over the course of two days, five dedicated workshops will explore all aspects of comprehensive and coordinated humanitarian assistance for the region. At the conclusion of the summit, a final declaration outlining outcomes and recommendations will be issued.
