The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) participated in She Runs 2025, which was recognized by Guinness World Records for achieving the most participants in a female run event. The event took place on Sunday, November 9, at Expo City Dubai.
As the event’s Humanitarian Partner, DFWAC joins under the slogan “Her Voice is Heard… and Her Steps are Confident,” aimed to spread awareness messages emphasizing that a woman’s physical and mental health are inseparable, and that every confident step toward wellness represents broader support for the community as a whole.
Through its dedicated booth at the Race Village, DFWAC introduced visitors and participants to its programs and services that support women and children, benefiting more than 800 visitors and participants, alongside distributing motivational cards carrying positive messages symbolizing a woman’s journey toward awareness and balance. The cards are divided into three key themes
1. “I Give Myself Peace,” focusing on inner calm and self-care.
2. “I Remember Who I Am,” helping women reconnect with their identity and reminding them that their worth comes from within.
3. “I Give Myself What I Deserve,” reinforcing self-worth, confidence, and the celebration of achievements and growth.
Additionally, DFWAC displayed awareness messages throughout the race area and village, including: “Physical and mental health two sides of one wellness,” “Every step is awareness, every achievement is gratitude,” and “Empowering women means empowering society.”
On this occasion, H.E. Shaikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, affirmed that the foundation’s participation in She Runs 2025 aligns with the Year of Community and Dubai’s vision to build a cohesive society that places people at the heart of its priorities. She emphasized that empowering women and enhancing their positive presence are among the core pillars of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, which seeks to strengthen quality of life and social well-being.
H.E. added that the foundation’s participation in this humanitarian and sporting event reflects its belief that women’s holistic well-being is the foundation of their strength and contribution to society. Every step toward balance and awareness represents a step toward a more prosperous and stable future for women, their families, and the wider community. DFWAC remains committed to providing a supportive environment that fosters empowerment, enabling women to express themselves and overcome challenges with confidence and resilience.
She concluded that improving quality of life begins with empowering women psychologically, physically, and socially. Through its programs, services, and initiatives, DFWAC continues to translate this vision into tangible impact that transforms the lives of women and children, contributing to Dubai’s ongoing journey toward leadership and human excellence. The message remains clear: her voice is heard, and her steps are confident.
