(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The relevant presidential decrees No. 834/2025 and No. 835/2025 have been published on the president's website, Ukrinform reports.

The first decree introduces sanctions against eight individuals who are involved in crimes against Ukraine and Ukrainians, have appropriated property in the agricultural sector, grain crops, and cultural heritage sites, conduct information operations against our state, and implement Russian educational standards with anti-Ukrainian narratives in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Among the individuals subject to personal special economic and other restrictive measures are, in particular, Kyrylo Dmytriev, a financier close to the Russian leader who is involved in attracting Russian investments to key sectors of the economies of foreign states. Also included is former head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Oleksandr Tupytskyi.

The second decree introduces sanctions against five legal entities-Russian publishing houses that work to justify aggression, spread Russian propaganda around the world, and instill anti-Ukrainian sentiments in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has been instructed to inform the competent authorities of the EU, the US, and other states about the application of sanctions and to raise the issue of introducing similar restrictive measures with them.

“Today's sanctions decisions by Ukraine target individuals who work in Putin's government structures and are involved in looting in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, one of his”wallets," a Russian military intelligence official, and one of his collaborators. We are also starting work on Russian publishers who work to justify aggression and spread Russian propaganda around the world. Everything in Russia that is focused on war must be blocked," Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the introduction of sanctions.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine has imposed sanctions against 36 Russian companies and 18 individuals.
