(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Nov 6 (KNN) Commerce & Industry State Minister Jitin Prasada led the Indian business delegation at the India–Romania Business Forum held in Brașov, Romania.

The event was organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Brașov (CCIBv) in partnership with the Embassy of India in Bucharest and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India.

The forum focused on expanding bilateral investment and industrial cooperation between India and Romania, bringing together business leaders from sectors including automotive, aerospace, defence, renewable energy, engineering services, and ICT.

In his address, Prasada underscored India's emergence as one of the fastest-growing major economies and invited Romanian enterprises to explore opportunities within India's manufacturing and innovation ecosystem under flagship initiatives such as *Make in India* and the *Production Linked Incentive (PLI)* schemes.

A session on“Business Opportunities in India” highlighted recent policy reforms, improvements in ease of doing business, and state-level incentives within key industrial corridors.

The event also witnessed the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and matchmaking interactions aimed at fostering joint ventures and technology partnerships between Indian and Romanian enterprises.

The Brașov Forum marked an important milestone in India's engagement with Central and Eastern Europe, reaffirming both nations' commitment to strengthening cooperation in sustainable manufacturing, green energy, and high-technology industries.

Describing Brașov as a hub where“legacy industries meet new-age technologies,” Prasada noted that the city's thriving ecosystem of small and medium enterprises and innovation mirrors India's own development vision under *Make in India* and *Digital India*

He emphasised the potential for collaboration between Brașov's industrial expertise and India's growing capabilities in manufacturing, design, and engineering.
