Profile Articles Activity

I am a PhD candidate at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University. My research focuses on quantifying the synergies and trade-offs of land-use changes among biodiversity, climate, water and agriculture, with the goal of informing sustainable land management and policy decisions.

I use an interdisciplinary, spatially explicit approach, combining methodologies such as spatial multi-objective optimization and scenario-based analyses across different national contexts. As part of this work, I develop methods to assess the impacts of land-use change on biodiversity, carbon stocks, and the agricultural economy.

With a background in both geosciences and environmental policy, I am particularly committed to bridging the gap between science and policy, a crucial step toward accelerating the transition to a sustainable future. My ultimate aim is to deliver scientifically grounded strategies that support effective and well-informed decision making.
