Jordan, Netherlands Explore Boosting Agricultural Cooperation

Amman, Nov. 5 (Petra) – Agriculture Minister Saeb Khraisat and Dutch Ambassador to Jordan, Stella Kloth, on Wednesday discussed ways to enhance bilateral agricultural cooperation.
During the meeting held at the ministry's headquarters, Khraisat highlighted the "depth" of Jordan-Netherlands relations, noting the two countries' keenness to strengthening ties across various sectors.
Khraisat also noted the importance of current cooperation in smart agriculture, water-use technologies, supply chain and logistics projects.
The minister praised the Netherlands' role in training and developing Jordan's agricultural professionals and researchers, which contributes to promoting national capacity building and improving performance.
Kloth, in turn, affirmed the "strong" bilateral relations, expressing appreciation for today's discussions, aimed at enhancing mutual agricultural cooperation.
