The Gala Dinner included two high-level panel discussions exploring the region’s evolving role in the global yachting ecosystem.
The first panel, “Anchoring Growth: What It Takes for the Region to Become a Global Yachting Destination,” examined how world-class marina infrastructure and attractive investment frameworks can elevate the region’s position as a global hub for luxury yachting. Speakers from Old Doha Port, Ministry of Transport, Qatar Free Zones Authority, and Ronautica Middle East highlighted how public–private partnerships are central to fostering growth through integrated tourism, waterfront development, and premium marine services.
The second session, “Defining the Future of the Global Yachting Industry,” focused on innovation, sustainability, and the policies needed to ensure long-term competitiveness. Speakers from Gulf Craft, Benetti, Oceanco, and Doha Craft emphasized sustainable marina design, environmental stewardship, smart infrastructure, and talent development as pillars of future-ready maritime economies.

With Qatari companies representing more than half of the participants, the event underscores the nation’s growing leadership in marine manufacturing and innovation. He also announced new cultural and experiential additions, including the Oshar Art Gallery and an expanded Fishing Exhibition and Competition, both designed to celebrate heritage while fostering creativity and community engagement.
