(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 5 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah on Wednesday received GCC interior ministry undersecretaries ahead of their preparatory meeting hosted by Kuwait prior to the 42nd meeting of GCC interior ministers.
Sheikh Fahad conveyed to the GCC undersecretaries the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, welcoming them to Kuwait.
He underscored the unity and the bonds that connect GCC states, particularly in security, which is a core pillar of stability, affirming that the preparatory meeting is vital to coordinate common issues and enhance cooperation and expertise exchange to reinforce regional security.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Sheikh Fahad wished the GCC undersecretaries' success, expressing hope their discussions would yield constructive outcomes that support joint Gulf action and bolster efforts to preserve security and stability in GCC states. (end)
