Massive Drone Attack Reported In Russia's Volgograd Region, Power Substation Catches Fire


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the BBC, citing the region's governor, Andrey Bocharov.

He stated that“a fire was recorded on the territory of the Frolovskaya power substation as a result of falling drone debris. All necessary forces have been dispatched to the site to eliminate the consequences. As of 23:30, there are no casualties or major destruction.”

The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) reported temporary flight restrictions at airports in Volgograd, Tambov, Penza, and Saratov.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that 13 drones had allegedly been shot down over the Volgograd region, as well as several others over the Rostov, Belgorod, and Voronezh regions.

As reported by Ukrinform, following drone attacks on the night of November 4, operations were suspended at a petrochemical plant in Bashkortostan and at the Nizhny Novgorod oil refiner y.
