Two Get Arrested After Stabbings on Train in UK
(MENAFN) Two individuals have been detained following an attack on a train in which several passengers were stabbed, according to British Transport Police (BTP) on Saturday.
“We are currently responding to an incident on a train to Huntingdon where multiple people have been stabbed,” BTP shared on US social media platform X.
The force noted that officers are present at the scene alongside Cambridgeshire police.
Cambridgeshire police told the press that they received a call at 7:39 pm GMT reporting that multiple passengers had been stabbed while on the train.
“A number of people have been taken to hospital,” the police confirmed.
Meanwhile, London North Eastern Railway cautioned that some services might face cancellations or delays of up to an hour on certain routes as a result of the stabbing incident.
