-      Director of the Research Hub for Language in Forensic Evidence,  The University of Melbourne
Professor Helen Fraser studied phonetics and linguistics at Macquarie University and the University of Edinburgh, then lectured for many years at the University of New England (Australia). Case work experience led her to a research interest in forensic transcription. Following a decade as an independent researcher, she is now Director of the Research Hub for Language in Forensic Evidence at the University of Melbourne.
