G7 Ministers To Discuss Support For Ukraine Amid Energy Crisis


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Canada's Ministry of Natural Resources announced this on its website, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Canada is advancing the following energy objectives by continuing unwavering support for Ukraine as it faces an energy crisis brought on by Russia's targeted attacks on natural gas and nuclear infrastructure," the statement read.

The summit will also address issues such as the extraction of critical minerals, accelerating the transition to clean energy, enhancing energy security, and other related topics.

"Over the two days, discussions will support the development of a shared agenda for action that balances growth, affordability and sustainability, as well as strengthens competitive markets that will catalyze private investment and build stronger and more sustainable economies," the ministry added.

As reported, the G7 Energy and Environment Ministers' Summit is being held in Toronto today and tomorrow, with a Ukrainian delegation in attendance.
