Ukraine's PM, Lithuania's Parliament Speaker Discuss Energy Security
The prime minister said that energy security was one of the key issues on the agenda. She thanked Lithuanian friends for their steadfast support of Ukraine's energy sector and their readiness to enhance the country's air defense through the PURL mechanism.
Svyrydenko also briefed her Lithuanian counterparts on Ukraine's vision regarding the upcoming 20th EU sanctions package.
She stressed that Lithuania remains a reliable ally on Ukraine's path toward European integration. Both sides noted the work of the CPVA office, recently opened in Kyiv, and the implementation of its reconstruction and EU accession preparation projects.

The two sides agreed to begin preparations for joint consultations between the Ukrainian and Lithuanian governments in the near future.
