Nadeem: Higher Education Aligned With Market Needs
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Minister of Higher Education says that with the support of scholars and university professors, the ministry has succeeded in making the curriculum and education system more standardized in line with market needs.
In a statement, the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) said that Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, speaking to officials at Helmand University, noted that significant positive changes had recently taken place at the institution and expressed satisfaction with the efforts and performance of its leadership.
He added that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) remains committed to all its promises, particularly those related to the academic sector, and that these commitments have been fulfilled.
Nadeem said:“Very soon, in addition to the existing postgraduate (master's and doctorate) programs across various parts of Afghanistan, new programs will also be introduced, enabling us to achieve self-sufficiency in the field of academic advancement.”
According to the ministry, with the support of scholars and university professors, the MoHE has been able to make teaching materials and the education system more aligned with market demands.
The minister also urged professors to redouble their efforts in making the education system more effective and in training of Afghanistan's youth.
