KP Governor Raises Alarm Over Inter-Provincial Wheat Movement Ban, Writes To Prime Minister
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has written a letter to the Prime Minister expressing deep concern over the ban imposed on the inter-provincial movement of wheat.
In his letter, the Governor stated that restrictions on wheat transportation are a violation of Article 151 of the Constitution, which guarantees the freedom of trade and commerce within the country.
Faisal Karim Kundi maintained that the provincial restrictions have led to an increase in wheat smuggling and an abnormal rise in market prices.
