Profile Articles Activity

I am an interdisciplinary PhD student based in the School of Arts, English and Languages at Queen's University Belfast (QUB). My research receives funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council and explores how verbatim theatre techniques can lead to the realization of international human rights in practice. Broadly, I am interested in the concepts of authenticity and creativity in contemporary documentary drama, the ethics of spectatorship, arts accessibility and the limitations of human rights.

I graduated from Queen's University Belfast with an LLB in 2017 and with the McKane Medal and McKane and James MacQuitty Law Scholarships. In 2018, I was awarded an LLM in Human Rights and Criminal Justice and in 2022, an MA in English Literary Studies, also from QUB. I am also an experienced immigration adviser, and in 2021, obtained a Level 2 qualification to provide complex immigration advice from the Offices of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC).
