I am a postdoctoral research associate at the University of York, working in the Wolfson Atmospheric Chemistry Laboratories. My research focuses on the source of indoor volatile organic compounds (VOCs), mainly consumer products, and the large contribution of solvents. Using Selected-Ion Flow-Tube Mass Spectrometry (SIFT-MS), Quadrupole-Time of Flight Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (Q-TOF GC/MS), and an in-house built emissions chamber I am able to identify and quantify VOC emissions from consumer products and determine their total contribution to national emissions.
