Russia Continues To Recruit North Korean Soldiers To Support Operations In Sumy Region General Staff

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a Facebook post seen by Ukrinform.

According to the General Staff, North Korean units are conducting reconnaissance activities from the territory of the Kursk region using unmanned aerial vehicles, identifying Ukrainian positions, and assisting in adjusting fire on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Sumy region.

Ukrainian forces have recorded communications between North Korean drone operators and Russian army personnel. The North Korean UAV operators were adjusting the fire of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) on Ukrainian positions.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are documenting all established facts of the participation of foreign formations in the armed aggression.

"Units involved in the aggression against Ukraine will be neutralized in accordance with the laws and customs of war," the General Staff said.
