(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Naftogaz Group

"Last night, the enemy once again launched a large-scale combined attack on gas infrastructure. Russian troops launched dozens of missiles, including ballistic missiles, and hundreds of Shahed drones. Their targets were exclusively civilian facilities that deliver gas and heat to Ukrainians," the statement reads.

It is noted that this is the sixth massive attack on gas infrastructure since the beginning of October.

Unfortunately, there are casualties. Four of our colleagues are currently receiving medical aid. There have been hits and destruction in several areas at once. Operation of a number of critically important facilities has been suspended. Our specialists are starting the remedial actions immediately,” Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz Sergii Koretskyi stated.

Russian strikes directly affect the company's own gas production volumes, which it is forced to partially compensate for with imports. Koretskyi called on Ukrainians to be economical in their gas consumption whenever possible.
