Emergency Power Outages Cancelled In Seven Regions, Scheduled Shutdowns Remain In Chernihiv Region

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Ukrenergo on Facebook .

“Due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by previous Russian strikes, emergency shutdowns were applied this morning in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as partially in the Kirovohrad and Cherkasy regions. As of now, these restrictions are not in effect in any region,” the statement reads.

Also, the Chernihiv region continues to apply three stages of scheduled hourly power outages due to the consequences of previous attacks.

As of the morning of October 15, following a new Russian strike, some users remain without electricity in several regions, including the Dnipropetrovsk region. Emergency repair work is already underway.

It is also noted that, as of 7:40 a.m., electricity consumption in Ukraine exceeded the previous day's level by 4%. This increase is attributed to further cooling across the country and consumers using electric heaters ahead of the heating season.
