
Little Champions Shine At Loyola International School's Kindergarten Annual Sports Meet
Doha, Qatar: Loyola International School celebrated its much-awaited Kindergarten Annual Sports Meet 2025–26 with great enthusiasm and joy across its Oasis and Al Nasr Campuses. Held on September 27 and October 4 at the Oasis Campus, the event brought together the school's youngest learners for a vibrant showcase of sportsmanship, teamwork, and cheer.
The celebrations began with a heartfelt prayer, followed by a spirited welcome dance by the Kindergarten students that set a festive tone for the day. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as Principal Bhavna Vijaykumar addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of health, fitness, and active participation in everyday life. She encouraged parents to spend quality time with their children, celebrate their small achievements, and nurture them with positivity and motivation.
Bhavna also shared an inspiring message on healthy living, advocating the importance of simple lifestyle choices,“sugar cut, salt cut, and oil cut” to promote holistic well-being among children and families.
Once the Sports Meet was officially declared open, the young athletes of Kindergarten I and II participated in a series of individual and group events, displaying remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit. The excitement grew as parents joined their children in special parent–child games, adding laughter, fun, and togetherness to the celebration.
The highlight of the event was a sequence of colorful drills, cheerleading performances, and the prize distribution ceremony, where winners were honored with gold, silver, and bronze medals amidst cheers and applause.
