KUWAIT, Oct 11 (KUNA) -- The Al-Ojairi Scientific Center announced Saturday that six photographers from Kuwait and the Gulf region won top spots in the Arab Astronomy Photography Competition.
The competition was held under the Center's patronage in cooperation with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), the Physics Department at Kuwait University, and under the umbrella of the Kuwait Space Research Center.
Director General of the Center, Yousef Al-Ojeiri, told KUNA that the competition attracted dozens of participants from Kuwait, the GCC, and other Arab countries. Entries were judged across three categories: "Blood Moon," "Lunar Eclipse Phases," and "Lunar Eclipse with Landscape."
