UAE, Egypt Sign Aviation Deals
Dhaka: The United Arab Emirates and Egypt have signed a series of aviation agreements aimed at deepening cooperation in civil aviation, maintenance, training, and logistics, officials said on Friday.
The deals were finalised during a two-day visit to Abu Dhabi by a high-level Egyptian delegation. Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) Group and Egypt's Ministry of Civil Aviation signed five memorandums of understanding covering maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, air cargo, airport operations, VIP aviation, and training.
The Egyptian delegation visited several ADA subsidiaries, including Royal Jet, Etihad Airways Engineering and Maximus Air, where they were briefed on technical and operational capabilities.
The agreements, involving collaboration between ADA entities and EgyptAir subsidiaries, are expected to strengthen regional aviation ties and position Egypt as a potential hub for aviation services, industry experts said.
