American Teen Entrepreneur Wins Global Youth Innovation Award Donates Prize To Empower Girls In Monaco
Lotus Flo is a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing menstrual equity through sustainable product distribution, education, and global partnerships. Since its founding, the organization has impacted communities across the United States, the Bahamas, and Monaco providing PFAS-free menstrual products and vital menstrual health workshops for girls and women.
In a powerful gesture of global unity, Morgan announced that 10% of her competition winnings will be donated to SheCanHeCan (
), a Monaco-based nonprofit committed to empowering girls and promoting gender equality.
“It’s important to me that Lotus Flo represents more than just change in America,” said Morgan Spencer. “Our mission is to connect girls across borders to show that dignity, education, and opportunity are universal rights. Supporting SheCanHeCan allows us to amplify that mission in Monaco and beyond.”
The collaboration between Lotus Flo and SheCanHeCan underscores how youth leadership can spark global movements. Together, these organizations are breaking barriers and building bridges demonstrating that when young people lead with purpose, communities everywhere benefit.
Building on this momentum, Lotus Flo recently introduced its “Period Positive Subscription Box”, a socially conscious program that allows individuals, schools, and organizations to sponsor monthly menstrual care kits. Each box directly supports Lotus Flo’s outreach projects while empowering subscribers to make a tangible difference one cycle at a time.
“Every subscription box purchased helps a girl stay in school, maintain her health, and feel confident,” Morgan added. “It’s not just a product it’s a movement.”
