
Two Militants Eliminated In Joint CTD, Police Operation In Bannu
In a joint intelligence-based operation, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Bannu police killed two most wanted militants belonging to the banned outfit Fitna al-Khawarij in the Domel area's Company Road, following directives from DIG Bannu Region Sajjad Khan.
According to a CTD spokesperson, one of the dead militants was identified as Rashideen alias Malang Yar, the mastermind behind the martyrdom of four CTD personnel. The militants were wanted in several terrorism-related cases by both Bannu police and CTD.

Security forces recovered a cache of arms, hand grenades, and identification cards of the proscribed group from their possession. A search operation has been launched in the surrounding areas to trace other suspected militants.
DIG Sajjad Khan commended the police and CTD teams for their bravery, stating that their sacrifices are instrumental in restoring lasting peace. He reaffirmed the resolve to eliminate all terrorist elements from the Bannu region.
