30 Militants Behind Orakzai Attack In Security Operation

:Security forces have eliminated all 30 militants involved in the recent terrorist attack in Orakzai district that martyred Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif, Major Tayyab Rahat, and nine soldiers.

According to security sources, the operation was launched based on intelligence reports, during which all militant hideouts were destroyed and the area was cleared. A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and communication equipment was also recovered from the slain terrorists..

Earlier, during a night-long operation on October 7 and 8, security forces had killed 19 members of the Indian-backed terrorist group Fitna al-Khawarij in Orakzai.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif (aged 39, from Rawalpindi) and his second-in-command, Major Tayyab Rahat (aged 33, from Rawalpindi), bravely led their troops during the encounter and embraced martyrdom.

The other martyrs included Naib Subedar Azam Gul (Khyber), Naik Adeel Hussain (Kurram), Naik Gul Amir (Tank), Lance Naik Sher Khan (Mardan), Lance Naik Talash Faraz (Mansehra), Lance Naik Irshad Hussain (Kurram), Sepoy Tufail Khan (Malakand), Sepoy Aqib Ali (Swabi), and Sepoy Muhammad Zahid (Tank).

Security sources said operations are being intensified across the country to completely eliminate terrorism. The forces reaffirmed their resolve that Indian-backed militants will not be allowed to regroup under any circumstances.
