
FC Post In Orakzai Attacked By Militants Subedar Martyred In Sniper Fire
Militants opened fire on a Federal Constabulary (FC) post in the border area of Samana, belonging to the Rabia Khel tribe in Tehsil Ismailzai, Orakzai district.
According to security sources, the attackers fired five to six sniper rounds, resulting in the martyrdom of Naib Subedar Rehmatullah.
The injured officer was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Hangu in critical condition. However, due to excessive bleeding, he succumbed to his injuries. Hospital officials confirmed that the sniper bullet had struck the left side of his chest, causing a fatal wound.

Security forces immediately returned fire and cordoned off the area, launching a search operation to track down the assailants.
It is worth mentioning that just a day earlier, security forces had conducted an intelligence-based operation in Orakzai against the India-backed militant outfit“Fitna al-Khawarij.”
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the overnight operation on October 7 and 8 led to the killing of 19 militants. However, during the exchange of fire, 11 personnel, including Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif (39) and Major Tayyab Rahat (33), embraced martyrdom while bravely confronting the enemy .
