
Qatar Cultural Centre For Blind Hosts Awareness Session On Mental Health
Doha: The Qatar Social and Cultural Centre for the Blind organized an awareness session titled“Mental Health: The Foundation of Balance in Daily Life” to mark World Mental Health Day, observed annually on October 10.
The session, led by Tareq Mohamedin, a center member, spotlighted the importance of psychological balance in fostering stable and productive lives.
It explored the interplay between mental health and everyday routines, along with strategies for positively managing stress and challenges.
The speaker defined mental health as a state of emotional, intellectual, and social equilibrium that equips individuals to meet life's demands while deriving personal satisfaction.
He emphasised that mental well-being originates in the community and profoundly influences the quality of life for its members.
