FM, Arab, Foreign Counterparts Discuss Efforts To End Israeli Assault On Gaza

Amman, Oct. 8 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi held phone calls with a number of Arab and foreign counterparts to discuss efforts to end the Israeli assault on Gaza and ways to enhance bilateral relations.
During a call with Libya's Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Al-Taher Al-Baour, Safadi discussed developments in Gaza and efforts to stop the Israeli aggression, in addition to strengthening cooperation between the two countries across various fields.
Safadi and Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi also stressed, in a separate phone call, the need for concerted efforts to halt the Israeli assault on Gaza. They discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to further develop them, as well as the latest regional developments.
In another call, Safadi spoke with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar about bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations and the ongoing efforts to end the aggression on Gaza.
Safadi also held a phone conversation with Mauritania's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad Mohamed Salem Merzoug, which focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in various sectors and efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Additionally, the Foreign Minister received a call yesterday from Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf. The two discussed efforts to halt the Israeli assault on Gaza and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
