UAE, Dubai,October 2025: Jameel Motors, a leading provider of mobility solutions and partner of choice to top automotive brands, today hosted an exclusive showcase of Farizon's latest commercial electric vehicle (EV) transport solutions, marking a significant expansion of the company's EV portfolio as the UAE commercial vehicle market accelerates toward electrification. The event featured a high-profile power panel discussion examining -how commercial EVs hold the key to transforming the UAE's transportation sector. Showcase features Farizon's flagship fleet comprising of commercial Vans, Light and Heavy Trucks intended to hit roads in 2026.

The power panel discussion, titled“Driving UAE's commercial future” featured prominent industry leaders including Zeeshan Gaus, Head of Product – Mobility, Jameel Motors, Olga Shevorenkova, Chief Executive Officer, Loop Global and François Carlier, Deputy Director, Al Shirawi Industries. The panel examined market potential, operational challenges, emerging opportunities, and the regulatory landscape driving EV commercial vehicle integration across the UAE.

“The UAE commercial vehicle market represents a huge opportunity for electric solutions, and we're seeing high demand from logistics companies, e-commerce providers, and forward-thinking corporations,” said Zeeshan Gaus, Head of Product – Mobility, Jameel Motors.“Farizon's innovative technology and versatile vehicle range positions us perfectly to meet this growing demand while supporting the UAE's sustainability objectives. The question isn't whether EVs will disrupt commercial transportation, it's how quickly we can scale solutions to meet market needs.”

The timing of this showcase aligns with growth in the UAE's commercial EV sector. The commercial vehicle market is projected to expand from $2.61 billion in 2025 to $3.95 billion by 2030, with the commercial EV segment experiencing the fastest growth at approximately 35% annually. This growth is fueled by ambitious government initiatives, including the UAE's Net Zero by 2050 strategic plan and the National Electric Fleet Vehicles Policy launched in 2023, which targets electric and hybrid vehicles comprising 50% of all UAE road vehicles by 2050. The UAE has also set an interim goal of EVs representing at least 10% of all vehicles by 2030.

Supporting this market transformation, the UAE continues aggressive expansion of charging infrastructure. Abu Dhabi's E2GO joint venture between ADNOC and TAQA plans 70,000 EV charging points by 2030, while Dubai's DEWA rapidly expands its Green Charging Station network.

Corporate-led initiatives are equally driving demand. The government-endorsed Road 2.0 program unites 17 major corporations-including Aramex, Unilever, and Talabat-with commitments to deploy 6,000 Zero Emission Vehicles by 2030 and 20,000 by 2040.

Transport currently accounts for over 22% of the UAE's total greenhouse gas emissions, making commercial vehicle electrification crucial to achieving national decarbonization goals. Dubai's RTA targets 100% electric and hydrogen-powered taxis and limousines by 2040, while Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre launched its Green Bus Assessment program in 2023.

The exclusive Farizon showcase demonstrates Jameel Motors' commitment to providing innovative electric and alternative fuel solutions that significantly expand customer choice in advanced commercial vehicles, supporting both business objectives and environmental sustainability.
