Having recently relocated to the United Arab Emirates , Agius marks this new chapter in his career with an exclusive exhibition of his work, a rare showcase that bridges Maltese artistry with the Emirates' dynamic creative landscape.

In celebration of Malta's Independence Day , the exhibition serves as a cultural highlight of the Malta Day celebrations, honouring Agius's remarkable international career and his continued role as an ambassador of Maltese creativity on the global stage.

Born in London to Maltese parents, Lorenzo Agius rose to international prominence with his portraits of Ewan McGregor and the cast of Trainspotting and his defining“Cool Britannia” image of Liam Gallagher and Patsy Kensit for Vanity Fair. His lens has since immortalised global icons including Tom Cruise, Madonna, Cate Blanchett, Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr., Queen Rania of Jordan, King Charles III, and Oprah Winfrey , among countless others.

Now based in the UAE, Agius brings his distinctive mix of cinematic flair and emotional authenticity to the region, further contributing to its growing creative and artistic ecosystem.

His exhibition, “LOOK AT ME: Framing the Iconic,” first unveiled at Spazju Kreattiv in Valletta, Malta, offers a deeply personal retrospective that celebrates three decades of storytelling through image and emotion.
