I hold a PhD in philosophy and am currently a postdoc at the Rotman Institute of Philosophy. The research I work on is broadly concerned with questions at the intersection of technology, ethics, and epistemology, and I've worked on projects concerning big data and public health ethics, AI in health care, and misinformation and disinformation in social media systems. I'm currently most interested in ideals of cognitive security and insecurity as democracies grapple with information threats.
