
Afghanistan, Bangladesh Meet In T20I Series Opener Today
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan national cricket team will play its first T20I match today (Thursday) against Bangladesh in a three-match series in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Sayed Naseem Sadat, spokesman for the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB), told Pajhwok Afghan News that the match will start at 7 p.m. at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Afghanistan is scheduled to play its second T20I tomorrow (Friday), with the third match set for October 5 against Bangladesh.
Following the T20 series, Afghanistan will face Bangladesh in a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series, with matches scheduled for October 8, October 11, and October 14.
The ACB added that after the Bangladesh series, the national team will travel to Zimbabwe to play one Test match and three T20 matches against the Zimbabwean side.
The Test match against Zimbabwe will begin on October 20 and continue until October 24. The three T20 matches will take place on October 29, October 30, and November 2.
