Starting Today: Munich Leaders Meeting In Alula, Saudi Arabia

From September 30 to October 2, the Munich Leaders Meeting (MLM) in AlUla will provide a platform for more than 100 decision-makers and experts to discuss regional security dynamics and their geopolitical implications.
More than 15 Ministers from the Middle East and Europe are expected to attend.

The Munich Leaders Meeting in AlUla, Saudi Arabia
Through this MLM, the Munich Security Conference MSC aims to provide a platform for over 100 decision-makers from the Middle East, Europe, and beyond to discuss regional security dynamics and their geopolitical ripple effects. The MSC is convinced that contributing to a curated, meaningful exchange within the region itself is now more important than ever. The MSC is pleased that more than 15 ministers from the region and from Europe are expected to attend.

By bringing together key decision-makers the event serves not only as a space to explore pathways toward solutions, but also as a foundation for the discussions to come at the Munich Security Conference 2026.”

The MLM will deal with important aspects such as: The regional nuclear order, the future of Syria, the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas and the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, security in the Red Sea, the civil war in Sudan, Food Security, Climate and Energy Security, Opportunities and challenges of AI technologies, and international trade and geoeconomics. On the sidelines of the MLM, our Middle East Consultation Group will convene to continue discussions on how to promote dialogue and cooperation in the region.

The MLM is hosted in cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event is supported by the Boston Consulting Group and BMW. The MSC is also grateful for the support the Wadi Forum provided to improve the communication efforts in the region.
