My research interests focus on the role of higher education in society, who gets access to the powerful knowledge in the academy and what constitutes 'powerful knowledge'. I also have a particular interest in doctoral education and postgraduate supervision. I am the project manager of one international and two national programmes that interrogate how to enhance postgraduate education while critiquing its purposes.
