Public Works Minister: Kuwait Supports Transport Growth At Global Rail 2025

ABU DHABI, Sep 30 (KUNA) -- Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan affirmed Tuesday, Kuwait's commitment to advancing sustainable transport and strengthening Gulf cooperation across sectors through its participation in Global Rail 2025.
Dr. Al-Mashaan told KUNA, following the opening of the conference in Abu Dhabi that such forums are key to exchanging expertise and learning from global transport and railway experiences.
She added that strengthening Gulf and Arab railway connectivity is a priority for achieving economic integration and increasing the flow of trade.
She emphasized that bilateral cooperation with the UAE is a key pillar for strengthening joint efforts and supporting regional integration toward a sustainable and prosperous future.
On the sidelines of the conference, Al-Mashaan toured the exhibition's pavilions with Arab ministers and officials, receiving briefings on the latest innovations in transportation, railways, and smart technologies.
The second edition of the Global Rail 2025 Exhibition and Conference, themed "Driving the Future of Transport and Global Connectivity," will run until October 3.
The conference brought together more than 24 ministers and ministerial delegations, alongside more than 200 companies and brands from 14 sectors.
The exhibition includes over 55 discussion sessions covering sustainable finance, policies and governance, high-speed trains, AI, automation, and future urban planning. (end)
