Chris Greenough is Professor of Social Sciences at Edge Hill University. His research interests include contemporary religious identities, especially themes relating to gender, sex and sexuality. He is the author of 'Undoing Theology' (2018, SCM Press), 'Queer Theologies: the basics' (2019, Routledge) and 'The Bible and Sexual Violence Against Men' (2020, Routledge). Chris's latest book is 'Drag: the basics' (2025, Routledge), co-authored with Dr. Mark Edward.
