Russian Missile Strike On Zaporizhzhia: Injury Toll Rises To 49


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“Forty-nine people were injured as a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia. In total, the occupiers launched 696 strikes on 17 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past day,” Fedorov stated.

He clarified that the enemy carried out two missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia.

Additionally, Russian forces launched 10 airstrikes targeting Zaliznychne, Novoselivka, Uspenivka, and Mala Tokmachka. A total of 496 UAVs of various types - mostly FPV drones - attacked Novomykolaivka, Balabyne, Komyshuvakha, Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Zelene, and Charivne. Eight MLRS attacks were recorded in Zaporizhzhia and Poltavka. Another 180 artillery strikes hit Chervonodniprovka, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.

Authorities received 396 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.

As earlier reported, the previous night the enemy shelled Zaporizhzhia with MLRS, injuring four residents of the Khortytskyi district. By morning, two missiles struck the Shevchenkivskyi district. Initial reports indicated 42 people were injured.
