Jordan, Kuwait Talk Environment Cooperation

Amman, September 28 (Petra) – Minister of Environment Ayman Suleiman met on Sunday with Kuwait's Ambassador, Hamad Marri, to explore ways to enhance environmental cooperation and support joint initiatives.
The meeting, held at the Ministry discussed the strong Jordanian-Kuwaiti relations and the shared commitment to building a sustainable partnership in environmental protection and natural resource management.
Suleiman and Marri discussed aligning efforts with regional and international developments to support sustainable development.
The two parties agreed to activate mechanisms of cooperation through the exchange of expertise and scientific knowledge, as well as to explore opportunities for implementing joint environmental projects that contribute to environmental conservation and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in line with Jordan's Economic Modernisation Vision.
