Work Completed In Zaporizhzhia At Sites Of Russian Air Strikes, Over 80 Buildings Damaged
"Emergency rescue operations have been completed at the sites of enemy strikes. Three people were killed in the air strike: two women aged 40 and 79 and a 77-year-old man. In addition, two young men aged 20 and 17 suffered injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized," the statement said.
An enemy aerial bomb destroyed a private one-story residential building and damaged neighboring buildings. During emergency search and rescue operations, rescuers recovered the body of a woman from under the rubble. Firefighters also extinguished a fire in a two-story building and five cars covering an area of 100 m2, which caught fire as a result of a strike on the parking lot.

Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to five citizens. The pyrotechnic unit inspected the impact area for explosive objects.

All of the city's emergency services worked at the sites of the strikes.
According to Regina Kharchenko, secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, more than 80 homes were damaged in Zaporizhzhia as a result of the morning's massive air strike.
"After today's strikes, we have more than 80 damaged homes - 30 high-rise buildings and 54 private houses in three districts of the city. In high-rise buildings, windows were broken and balconies were destroyed, in private homes - roofs were torn off, walls and ceilings were cracked. Non-residential buildings were also damaged," Kharchenko wrote.
The gas network was also damaged. The leaks have already been localized - people have not been cut off from gas. Utility workers are closing windows with OSB sheets - they have already repaired the windows of four high-rise buildings. Social services are recording all the needs of the people, and charity workers are bringing the most necessary items.
