State of Gujarat is growing its High-Tech. ecosystem, right from semiconductors, electronics to IT. Quantum Technology made latest entry into this vibrant High-Tech. ecosystem of Gujarat, when Innogress announced its plan to set up India’s first Quantum Technology Park in Gujarat during Vibrant Gujarat 2022-2024. And recently at Viksit Gujarat Summit, Govt. of Gujarat signed a MoU with Innogress for establishing ‘Greater Karnavati Quantum Computing Technology Park (GKQCTP)’ in the State of Gujarat with a vision to establish over $50 Billion Quantum Tech. ecosystem in Gujarat, India.

Over last two years, ‘GKQCTP’ project promoter Innogress was consolidating various Deep Tech. ecosystem players as partner under the Quantum Tech. Park frameworks, and initial operations of ‘GKQCTP’ got established in Gujarat through ecosystem partners Tabor Electronics, S-Qube, Hanron, QCarbon/Quniverse and IIT Gandhinagar.

‘GKQCTP’ is to cater end to end value chain of the Quantum Tech. right from Quantum Computing Hardware, Quantum Computing Software, Quantum Computer Measurement & Control, Quantum Communication, Quantum Security, Quantum Sensing, Quantum Materials through integrated facilities like Quantum Tech. Materials Processing Center, Quantum Tech. R&D Centre and Quantum Design & Engineering COE (Centre Of Excellence), Quantum Tech. Manufacturing & Fabrication Lines, Shielding and Centralized Cryogenic Cooling, Quantum Computing Data Centre, Quantum Tech. Test Beds & Simulators, Quantum Tech. Skilling & Learning Centres and other common facilities to be created by investments of Rs. 4000 Cr ($0.50 B) and to be used by GKQCTP ecosystem partners.

Innogress’s partner Tabor Electronics is already making qubits and its measurement & control system in Gujarat under the ‘GKQCTP’ ecosystem, and during this MoU signing Tabor announced that it shall be scaling its Quantum Devices manufacturing under the aegis of ‘GKQCTP’ to support up to Million Qubits.

Globally Tabor launched its superconducting based quantum computers, which are set to be manufactured in this Gujarat based Quantum Tech. Park.

Another Innogress’s partner S Qube under the leadership of Mr Nikhil Mitaliya is enabling National Quantum Mission (NQM) of Govt. of India, by supplying required quantum components and systems to the institutions under various Quantum T-Hubs. It has started development of Rydberg atom based quantum radars and quantum communication devices, which are set to be manufactured in Gujarat at ‘GKQCTP’.

Recently Innogress’s partner Hanron, a quantum tech. startup which is incubated at IIT Gandhinagar under the aegis of ‘GKQCTP’, has started development of quantum sensors, quantum devices, quantum cryogenic components and sub systems under the leadership of Mr Piyush Vishwakarma, and are set to be manufactured at ‘GKQCTP’ in Gujarat.

Another quantum tech startup, Egreen Quanta has recently announced onboarding GKQCTP for developing various Quantum Tech. products & solutions for strengthening Mission ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ which was announced by PM Modi in his recent independence day speech. Egreen Quanta under the leadership of Dr Kumar Gautam holds patents in Quantum Dot Radar and Quantum Battery Technologies, and set to manufacture these deep tech products in this Gujarat based quantum tech park.

‘GKQCTP’ ecosystem partner QuISTechAI is developing NV Center in Diamond based Quantum Radars, Quantum Sensors and Quantum GPS under the leadership of renowned international scientist Dr Abhishek Shukla, and set to manufacture these quantum devices at GKQCTP in Gujarat.

GKQCTP ecosystem partners Quniverse & QCarbon (QQC), are world's pioneering ventures in Nitrogen/Silicon/Boron vacancy-based diamond quantum sensing, poised to redefine ultra-precision measurement across industries. At the epicenter of QQC's trailblazing portfolio lies its proprietary marvel, the "Ultimate Magic Material" Q-Carbon, a revolutionary creation under the leadership of Dr. Jagdish Narayan and Prof. Nixon Patel. This extraordinary substance herald’s paradigm-shifting advancements in a constellation of critical realms, from next-generation energy storage and stealth radar shielding to diamond fabrication, GPU thermal orchestration, and the zenith of high-performance quantum computing. It is a platform technology for Fourth Industrial Revolution with Multi-Trillion market potential.

In addition, GKQCTP boast of its ecosystem partners in Quantum Security like QNu Labs, TAQBIT Labs, and in Quantum Computing & Components like Silicofeller Quantum, Quanfluence, Qkrishi, QRDLab, Q-CTRL, OQC, D-Wave, QCi, IQM, nexAtom and many more.

Among R&D-Academic institutions, Gujarat based premier institution IIT Gandhinagar is knowledge cum venture partner for ‘GKQCTP’ project. IIT Kanpur and IIT Guwahati are NQM (National Quantum Mission) partners for the ‘GKQCTP’ ecosystem, with an objective of productizing and commercializing various researches happening in NQM funded institutions under four Quantum T-Hubs at ‘GKQCTP’ in Gujarat.

Private Universities like JSS University Noida, Sharda University Gr. Noida, North Carolina State University, USA and other Universities/Institutions of Gujarat are also supporting the Quantum Tech. ecosystem getting developed at ‘GKQCTP’ in Gujarat.

During MoU signing event in Gandhinagar, Ms P. Bharti, IAS, Secretary, Ms Neha Kumari, IAS, Mission Director, GSEM (Gujarat State Electronics Mission), Ms Kavita Shah, IAS, Director IT, Ms Anita Desai, Deputy Director, Mr Parthiv Bharti, Assistant Director, Ms Shubhangi Jain and other officials of DST (Deptt. of Science & Technology), Gujarat Govt. were present along with Mr Sumant Parimal Founder of Innogress Ventures, an entity promoting GKQCTP, and Co-Founders Prof Nixon Patel , Mr Nikhil Mitaliya.

GKQCTP is kickstarting from IIT Gandhinagar and GIFT City Gandhinagar, with its expansion for manufacturing and other facilities at Dholera SIR, Gujarat.

GKQCTP project is getting established under the Electronics & IT policies of the sate Govt. of Gujarat and backed by FDI investors interests.
