Russia Criticizes Poland Over Drones' Breach Issue


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MOSCOW, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- Russia on Friday criticized Poland for its objection to holding consultations with Moscow over recent drones' Breach of the Polish airspace.
Maria Zakharova, spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said in a press statement that Warsaw's charges that Moscow sought provocation and escalation lacked tangible evidence.
Holding Russia responsible for the incidents and the rejection of conducting consultations affirm lack of western interest in revealing the truth, she said, alluding to recent drones' violation of the Polish airspace.
Poland on September 10 declared that Russian pilotless aircraft roared across the national airspace before they were shot down. (end)
