120M Afs Modern Hotel Opens In Bamyan For Tourists

BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): A modern hotel - Bam-i-Asia - has been constructed at a cost of 120 million afghanis and officially inaugurated in central Bamyan province, with the goal of promoting tourism and enhancing urban services.

Saboor Farzan Seyghani, spokesperson for the Bamyan governor, said the three-story Bam-i-Asia Hotel was built with a modern and contemporary design, funded through the development budget of the provincial municipality.

He noted that the hotel has been designed to provide high-quality services to both citizens and tourists, as well as to host major events. The facility was formally opened today.

Bamyan Governor Maulvi Abdullah Sarhadi described the project as a significant step toward improving quality of life, delivering standard services and strengthening the economic and tourism infrastructure in Bamyan's center.

“The construction of this modern hotel with standard facilities reflects the municipality's commitment to urban development and to attracting both domestic and international tourists,” he said.“It will play an important role in the province's economic growth.”

Maulvi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada, Director General for Coordination of Municipal Affairs, said during the inauguration ceremony that building and equipping modern hotels in cities is among the key responsibilities of municipalities.

He added that such initiatives can improve urban services and boost tourist satisfaction.

He described the opening of the Bam-i-Asia Hotel as a clear example of a practical and effective step toward the development of Bamyan's urban infrastructure.
