Defense Forum In The Hague Expected To Strengthen Ukraine-Netherlands Partnership
A key element of the forum will be the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between two leading NGOs from Ukraine and the Netherlands, which is expected to provide a framework for supporting companies in certification and defense procurement, expanding international partnerships, adapting products based on frontline feedback, and improving technologies in line with operational needs.

Organizers said the forum is intended to bridge the gap between companies' technical potential and the challenges of entering international markets.
DeltaQuad CEO Sander Smeets remarked that Ukraine had demonstrated how quickly defense innovations could develop when lives are at stake.
Jan Christiaan Dicke, the Netherland' Commissioner for Military Production at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, stressed that cooperation with Ukraine is critical for the revival of Europe's defense industry. He said that Ukraine's defense sector had shown remarkable resilience and innovation, and described the forum as an important step toward combining Ukrainian solutions with Europe's production capacity.
George Dubynskyi, president of the NGO DefTechCluster, pointed out that Ukraine had proven innovative adaptability to be the key to effective defense, and added that these advances are already vital for Europe as a whole.
Joost Tuinman, Director of Unmanned Systems AI Armament, also highlighted the combat value of Ukraine's experience, stating that integrating the Ukrainian and Dutch defense industries is not a luxury but a necessity that has to begin immediately.
During the forum, the Dutch Defense Ministry is expected to present specific recommendations on funding, programs, and market access, while leading defense companies from both countries will share practical battlefield case studies, underscoring critical needs and ways to address them.
The special guest of the event will be Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces.
The forum is being organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Netherlands, DeltaQuad, and VN Strategies, with the support of the Dutch Ministries of Defense and Economic Affairs, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, RVO, NIDV, ROM, the Municipality of The Hague, and several public and private partners, including Calibrated as the event's media partner.
